Introduction

Risk and loss management is an essential component of the safety and sustainability of port and maritime activities. Because of their central role in world trade, ports are exposed to a wide range of risks, whether related to security, marine disasters or freight disputes. This training program provides the tools needed to understand the interdependence of risks, to intervene effectively in the event of a claim, and to master the legal and insurance aspects associated with claims in the port and maritime sector.

General objectives of the training courses :

Port risk management: Providing a global vision of risks, informing managers about their interconnection, possible crises and appropriate responses.

Marine and port claims management: training in effective claims response, insurance management and assessment of liability and damage costs.

Transport and freight claims management: Learn how to set up a claims file, implement protective measures and manage insurance contracts and quality monitoring procedures.

Preventing and managing claims in international transport: master standard contracts, understand the responsibilities of the players in the transport chain and know how to prevent claims and disputes, while identifying possible remedies.

Our training courses will help you not only to develop your skills, but also to ensure compliance and safety in your professional maritime field.
